YMCA of Emporia-Greensville History

Led by a group of volunteers with the common vision of improving the quality of life in the Emporia-Greensville area, the Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville was initially founded in August 2000. After eight months of fundraising, the Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville opened as a store-front facility at 510 N. Main Street on June 27, 2001.
